Frame of Mind 2008
Frame Of Mind is a unique film festival
on Mental Health. The portrayal and interpretation of mental
disorders in films vary according to the different cinematic traditions across
the globe.
After the great success of FOM I in 2006, and FOM II in 2007, FOM III will be held at Chennai, India, between 10-12 October 2008. The film festival is part of the International Conference On Schizophrenia IConS III scheduled to be held during the same month.
The two main objectives of the festival are to improve awareness about Mental Health and beat the stigma attached to mental disorders, and to stimulate & promote interest on Mental Health issues among film makers.

The theme for FOM II "What is Good Mental Health?"
Films portraying mental retardation, alcoholism and drug abuse, and childhood disabilities such as autism will NOT qualify for the competition and will be excluded.
